SUITABILITY:
Outside of character, Utsugi's the main antagonist of a horror visual novel, so he's no stranger to dark, unexplained situations that could be found upsetting or revolting by normal people. One day, when he's older he'll learn how to be pompous, speak pretentiously, and be assertive about his goals and whims, as he becomes a very well-spoken father at the Church of Empireo (basically a cult) who's adored by his congregation and sought after by those who believe in his word.
As he is right now, however, he's only a young, meek college student who's non-confrontational and does not want to bring any sort of discomfort to Hajime, usually quiet and reserved, with a fiery passion inside that he keeps buried down to not cause his Star any issues. He willingly takes on all the heavy, distasteful sins of the church onto his own, to keep Hajime blissfully unaware and protected from any mental duress any of it could cause him. As long as Hajime's happy and pure, Utsugi's more than glad to bloody his hands in his stead.
With strangers, he's polite and respectful, but he does have a breaking point. He doesn't care for crude language or insinuations, and despite being a pro at keeping his true feelings hidden, he's very judgemental of others and would rather keep his distance when possible. His feelings do peek out when Hajime's involved, however, and might even snap is provoked enough. He'd prefer to stay away from trouble, but is not above being underhanded or sadistic if it means keeping Hajime safe.
